ENERGY INSTITUTE OF THE AMERICAS
The EIA, constituted by world-class universities, focuses on contributing to the formulation of hemispheric energy security, collaborative research agendas and human resources development. It achieves its mission through education, research, information exchange and helping solve practical problems.
The EIA is a multi-national non-governmental organization constituted by world-class universities and associations that work through education and research. Each member is committed to assisting its own state, province and country energy industry and its own institution.
The EIA/OU office is part of the Sarkeys Energy Center (SEC), and operates under the over-all direction of the University of Oklahoma President, the Provost and the Director of the SEC.
