Our Mission Statement

Recognizing the growing interdependency of the Americas with respect to energy resources, development, technology and supply, the founding institutions established the Energy Institute of the Americas (EIA):

To engage in activities and to support policies in the Western Hemisphere that promote energy sector growth that is economically and environmentally sound; and thereby further greater hemispheric self-sufficiency through dependable and competitively priced energy, expand national and more integrated economies, and increase the quality of life for the peoples of the Americas.
